The Pololu Balboa 32U4 Balancing Robot Kit is a two-wheeled balancing robot built for education and fun. The kit comes with a pre-assembled Balboa 32U4 robot, an Orangutan SVP-1284 motor controller, and all the necessary components to quickly get your robot up and running. With its open-source design, the Balboa 32U4 allows students and developers to learn and customize the code that runs their robot while taking advantage of many of the existing libraries and examples developed by other users. The robot has two drive wheels each driven by a separate DC motor and includes IR, touch, and sonar sensors to help detect its surroundings and keep it balanced. The Balboa 32U4 also has an on-board ATmega32u4 microcontroller that allows users to program the robot and control its behavior. The kit also includes an IMU board for measuring the tilt and orientation of the robot's body, as well as a LiPo battery for powering the entire system.
