The PTN162H250S4B250 with DFN1610 ESD Protection Devices from PROSEMI is a surface mount, RoHS-compliant ESD protection device that is designed to provide over-voltage protection to sensitive electronics. It is a dual channel device featuring two terminals per lead and is typically used in applications requiring ±12kV ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection and ±350pF capacitance. This device has an operating voltage range of 2V-14V and a peak pulse current rating of 50A. The ultra-small 1610 form factor design allows it to fit in tight spaces, and its low insertion and leakage current makes it ideal for use in a wide range of consumer electronics such as cellular phones, tablets, cameras, and headphones.
