Aero engine
The ST5141 module is a part of the PulseAero engine, which is a high performance gas turbine engine, designed for commercial and industrial applications. The ST5141 serves as the secondary compressor module, and is responsible for increasing the pressure and temperature of the inlet air before it goes into the combustor. The module is usually located behind the primary compressor, and helps to produce the required pressure at the inlet of the combustor. The module also helps to reduce the amount of lost energy, as well as reducing the Total Pressure Ratio (TPR) of the engine. The module is composed of two stages of axial flow compressors, each having their own set of stators and vanes. The module also has a set of intercoolers which are used to reduce the temperature of the air before it enters the combustor. The ST5141 also comes with a recuperator which helps to make the engine more efficient by recovering some of the energy from the exhaust gases.
