F history
SK3039 was a North American Harvard Mk. IIB aircraft that was used by the Royal Canadian Air Force between 1943 and 1946. During this time, the aircraft was assigned to No. 1 (F) Squadron and was primarily used for pilot training. It was ultimately written off in 1946 and was scrapped, with its components being reused in other aircraft. SK3039 was a significant part of RCAF history, as it was one of the first Harvard aircraft ever to be used by the air force and it helped to train a generation of pilots who would go on to serve in the Second World War.
