The Richtek RT9218GS is a pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller, designed for applications such as voltage regulator modules (VRMs) and computer power management. It is a dual-channel PWM, featuring two equally spaced, built-in 160KHz oscillators to provide a smooth and accurate PWM output, even at low speed. The RT9218GS comes with a wide input voltage range of 5v to 20v, adjustable steady-state frequency up to 160KHz max, and programmable slope compensation for optimal output voltage performance. This device also features power-fail detection, over-temperature protection, over-current protection, and under voltage lockout. It has active PFC pre-control and a built-in soft-start function.
