The RT9712CGF is a linear switching regulator controller from Richtek. It is designed to provide a low cost, low noise, and high performance solution for wide input applications such as adapters, chargers, and notebook computers. With its integrated auto-compensation features and high accuracy, the RT9712CGF is ideal for applications requiring highest stability and best transient response performance. Its Light Load Mode and peak load current sensing features allow the RT9712CGF to easily handle loads as low as 2mA and above. The device also features adjustable/fixed frequency/PWM operation, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection.
