The BD6981FVM-GTR is a Motor/Motion/Ignition Controller & Driver from ROHM that is designed to drive a single DC brush motor with an H-bridge output. The device utilizes high-speed drive technology and a built-in 5V regulator, which allows the motor to be driven at up to 4A current (H bridge switchable 2A per channel). It is suitable for a variety of applications including robotic motions, motor control for home appliances, E-power steering, and gate openers. The device also features a variety of protection features including thermal shutdown, over-current, and over-voltage protection.
