The IMU 10DOF V2.0 from Seeed Studio is a high-precision 9-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that combines 3-axis gyroscopes, 3-axis accelerometers, 3-axis magnetometers and a barometer into a single chip. The device is Arduino compatible and comes with a protective case. It incorporates an LSM9DS1 IC and offers a very small form factor measuring only 1.59’’×1.02” (40.3mmx26mm). The maximum sample rates are 190 Hz for gyroscope, and 118 Hz for accelerometer and magnetometer. The wide input voltage range supports 3.3V ~ 5V and provides power efficiency with low power consumption down to 1.02 µA at shutdown mode. The on-board communication interface is I2C, allowing many IMU’s to be connected and used in a single system. The IMU 10DOF V2.0 is suitable for various applications, including motion sensing and navigation.
