The Semtech SX12XX SM15.TCT is part of Semtech's SX12XX family of transceivers, a family of radio-frequency transceivers based on the patented Sub-1GHz RF technology. The SM15.TCT offers a low-power, highly integrated, single-chip transceiver architecture. It offers performance, flexibility and cost efficiency. The SM15.TCT covers 157 MHz - 1020 MHz of operation frequency band with European (ETSI) compliant output power of up to +17dBm, making it the ideal solution for applications such as wireless metering, wireless industrial automation, wireless sensors, building automation and wireless remote control for garage door openers. It is designed on Semtech’s proprietary BiCMOS process, using an enhanced variant of the SEMCO-NN BiCMOS process, which allows for ongoing innovations to further improve transceiver performance. The SM15.TCT transceiver includes a high-dynamic-range RF transceiver, advanced digital baseband, complete hardware support for ultra-narrow-band (UNB) digital modulation and one advanced time-division-multiplexing (TDM) radio protocol engine. The SM15.TCT also features 32-bit advanced cryptography, providing maximum range, reliability and performance.
