Additional Infomation About Product

is an analog output device used in conjunction with an Arduino microcontroller to measure the distance between the sensor and an object. TheGP2Y0AF15X model is a short-range distance sensor equipped with a rangefinder and infrared LED. It has an adjustable detection range from 0.5 to 15 cm and a maximum resolution of 0.3 cm. The output is an analog voltage that is proportional to the distance detected. It is designed to be used in applications such as distance measurement (e.g. robot obstacle detection), and position detection (e.g. contactless switch). It can be powered by a 4.5 to 5.5V DC power supply, and is resistant to interference from external light sources.
