The SI8451AA-B-IS1 is a 5-channel digital isolator manufactured by Silicon Labs. It consists of 4 forward channels and 1 reverse channel, each capable of achieving an isolation of 1kV. It can be used to protect sensitive circuitry from high voltage/noise coming from other circuits. It can also be used for level shifting applications, where signals need to be converted from one voltage range to another. The product features a bidirectional data flow, low-power consumption, high common-mode transient immunity, and includes a unique data isolation technology.
