The ATN3580-37 is a donor IC designed to serve as the switching mechanism in a PLL frequency synthesizer. It is part of Skyworks' frequency synthesis product line, and provides an improved phase noise performance. The ATN3580-37 is an integrated phase-locked loop with a high performance output stage, programmable prescaler and high performance phase detector. It contains a low phase noise voltage controlled oscillator, which is suitable for applications involving communications, instrumentation, and test and measurement. The ATN3580-37 is designed to provide a continuous frequency range up to 1 GHz while maintaining a high phase noise performance and a low additive harmonic noise floor over a wide bandwidth.
