/Hevi-DutyThe Sola/Hevi-Duty SLM6150 PMIC is a Battery Management System (BMS) in an 8-pin SOP-150mil RoHS package. It is designed to protect and manage power for lithium-ion batteries, implementing configurable overcharge and over-discharge protection. It also monitors the temperature of the battery, and provides accurate balancing for cells in a battery pack. This chip provides a power converter that includes charge current, input voltage and battery voltage detection, fault detection, battery temperature and aging indication. Other features of the SLM6150 PMIC include a low standby current consumption, floating charging, undervoltage lockout for battery protection, and an adjustable output voltage.
