The KFMP-1U/1600 part of SR Passives is an industrial-grade waterproof surge protection device (SPD), designed to protect electrical systems and components from the damaging effects of electrical surges. It is a Type 1 (Category B) SPD Rated for up to 1kA per phase. It is designed for mounting directly inside the enclosure, and provides effective protection for up to 16 circuits or devices. The device is UL 1449 4th Edition and CSA C22.2 Certified, meeting the standards of both the United States and Canadian national regulatory bodies. The KFMP-1U/1600 provides superior surge protection, with a response time of = 6 nanoseconds, and offers a robust IP65 rating for protection under harsh environmental conditions. The device is also RoHS compliant, ensuring that it contains no hazardous materials.
