The L4971D Voltage Regulator manufactured by STMicroelectronics is a high-efficiency, non-synchronous, step-down DC/DC switching regulator suited for a wide range of applications. This voltage regulator provides input voltages from 3.3 to 50V and output voltages from 0.8V to 50V. It features an integrated high-side and low-side Power MOSFET configuration capable of managing high output currents. This voltage regulator also features an adjustable output voltage, over-load protection, short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection. Additionally, this voltage regulator is available in a standard surface-mount package or an integrated advanced copper-plated DPAK package. This makes the L4971D a suitable choice for applications requiring a high degree of cost-effective efficiency.
