Additional Infomation About Product

The L6480H is a three-phase brushless DC motor driver from STMicroelectronics. It is based on the STSTEP family of STMicroelectronic products, and is designed to drive brushless DC motors efficiently and reliably. It integrates all the control and drive circuitry required to achieve smooth and efficient operation of 3-phase brushless DC motors, with the flexibility to support a range of motor types and applications. The device features an integrated motor control algorithm, overcurrent protection, and a range of configurable features, enabling designers to review and optimize their motor-control solutions. In addition, the part includes a dedicated I/O interface for communication with a host microcontroller, allowing control and programming of motor features such as step size, current level and speed.
