Additional Infomation About Product

The L6506D is a high voltage motor driver circuit with integrated protection functions designed by STMicroelectronics. The device contains two power MOSFETs in a low on-resistance DMOS output stage, intended for use in inductive step motor, dc motor, and other load control applications. it is capable of driving 5A of peak current with supply voltages up to 20V. The protection features include overcurrent protection as well as thermal shutdown. The device has a wide range of operation, from 6V up to 20V with or without external transistors for current sensing or driving high inductive loads.
