The L6561D013TR is a Power Factor Correction (PFC) Wide Input Voltage manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides a complete solution for the implementation of a boost-type PFC in off-line AC-DC power supplies. The wide input voltage range makes the device suitable for almost any AC mains. The main features of this IC include internal current sense amplifier, frequency jittering, integrated soft start, and open loop regulation. It is also capable of delivering up to 14 W of average power which is suitable for powering applications such as LED drivers. It is also efficient, with a high power factor and low ripple, thereby reducing the system's power losses.
