The L7806CD2T-TR part from STMicroelectronics is an adjustable 1.5A positive voltage regulator designed for use in linear and switching power supplies. It has a wide input voltage range and a low dropout voltage, and is capable of providing output currents up to 1.5A. It features over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection, and also includes an internal thermal shutdown mechanism. Power TO-220 packages and on-board PCB mounting holes allow flexible design options, while up to 3% accuracy in output voltage and low noise performance, make the L7806CD2T-TR a reliable solution for power supply design.
