The STMicroelectronics L99SM81VQ6TR is a low-voltage (3.3 V to 5 V), programmable stepper motor driver for automotive applications with micro-stepping and stall detection. It utilizes a built-in dual channel MOSFETs low-side driver and external high-side driver with current sensing, which offer high current (<2A) and low on-resistance (<0.2 O) solutions for x- and y-axis stepper axes. The driver features StallGuard2™ technology, which is capable of detecting motor deceleration or stalling.
