The LD2981CM50TR is a product from the STMicroelectronics line of low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulators. It is a monolithic, positive, high-efficiency 3-terminal regulator, offering a maximum output current of 50mA. This device is a very low-dropout regulator that ensures a very low output voltage noise level of <10 µVrms and provides much higher performance over conventional linear LDO regulators. It also offers a fast transient response time and extremely high PSRR values. This makes it suitable for powering sensitive circuits. In addition, its Pb-free package and ultra-low quiescent current minimize power wastage and improve system efficiency.
