It provides protection against high-voltage transients such as electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT), power cross, and inductive loads. The 1.5KE170A-R0 has a maximum peak pulse current of 170A at 8/20µs and is available in several different packages. It has a maximum clamping voltage of 22V and is RoHS Compliant.
