InvenSenseThe TDK InvenSense MPU-6881 is a 6-axis MEMS motion tracking device that integrates three-axis gyroscopes, three-axis accelerometers, and a Digital Motion Processor (DMP). It is designed for use in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications, and in 3D motion mapping solutions. The MPU-6881 utilizes TDK InvenSense’s proprietary MEMS sensors which provides high-precision, low-power sensing with up to 15-bit data resolution. Additionally, the IMU 6-Axis MEMS MotionTracking Device contains an on-chip Digital Motion Processor (DMP) which allows complex sensor fusion algorithms to algorithmically process the 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and 3-axis magnetometer data. The DMP supports motion-interrupt and generation of System Tick interrupts for timing and synchronization. The embedded Electronic Self-Test ensures sensitivity and bias accuracy, and allows the device to be calibrated without the need for external instrumentation.
