The CD4013BE is a Dual D-Type Flip-Flop integrated component from Texas Instruments. The component consists of two independent D-Type (data) flip-flop circuits that can be used for data latching, data storage and shift register operations. The component is 14-pin PDIP (plastic dual in-line package) in a hermetically sealed ceramic package. It features data carry-out and complement outputs in addition to the standard data output. These outputs allow the component to be used not only as a 2-bit rate multiplier or frequency divider, but also as a 4-bit shift register. It operates on a power supply range of 2.7V–15V and is designed to minimize static and dynamic power consumption.
