The LM324AD Operational Amplifier (Op Amp) Quad General manufactured by Texas Instruments is an integrated circuit (IC) containing four independent, high-gain, internally frequency-compensated operational amplifiers (operational transistors) designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages. It requires only one external resistor to set any gain value from unity gain to more than 500. It also features an internal protection circuit for input overvoltage or voltage transients. The low power supply current makes it ideal for battery-operated systems. It is designed to operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and has a gain bandwidth product of 5 MHz. Its peak output current capability is ±25 mA.
