The LP2985-50DBVR is a low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed for applications that require highly accurate output voltages, and features a 1.5% output tolerance. With an output current capacity of up to 150mA, this LDO is capable of providing both low-noise and high-efficiency performance. It also features a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 12V and a dropout voltage of just 50 mV at 150mA. The device's low quiescent current draw, 400 µA typical, makes it an ideal choice for battery-powered applications. In addition, it includes an enable/disable pin to reduce power consumption and offer further flexibility. With a few simple external components, such as capacitors, it can also be used as an adjustable regulator.
