Additional Infomation About Product

The THVD1550DR is a 5V RS-485 Transceiver IC manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a monolithic half-duplex transceiver IC that operates at data rates up to 10 Mbps. The device features an integrated 2-wire bus transceiver for communication over differential signaling with shorter line lengths. It supports full-duplex and 3-wire half-duplex communications. The device is compatible with various protocols such as EIA/TIA-485, EIA/TIA-422, RS-485, RS-422, and RS-232. The integrated features of the device make it suitable for communication and bus arbitration applications where simplified hardware designs are desirable. It is capable of driving and receiving up to 32 points of up to 128 nodes on the bus. The device is organized into three parts; the RTS (Receive/Transmit select) control logic, the unconditionally transmitting and receiving logic and the bus driver/receiver circuit. The THVD1550DR is a reliable device with built-in immunity to ESD, electrical transients and noise.
