The TPS2553DBVR-1 is a power distribution switch IC from Texas Instruments. It is a single-channel power distribution switch that provides a configurable current limit, adjustable current limited power distribution with two integrated power FETs, a programmable output overvoltage detection, and an output short circuit protection for increased system reliability. The switch has a maximum input/output voltage of 6V and provides 5V of logic voltage (3V to 10V max). It is also designed to minimize power dissipation with its internal shutdown mode. This switch is suitable for use in automotive and consumer applications, as well as other applications where output power is being switched from a single source.
