The TPS54360BDDAR with Switching Voltage Regulators which was manufactured by Texas Instruments is a 60-V input, 3.5-A, step-down DC/DC converter with Eco-Mode 8-SO PowerPAD -40 to 150. This device is optimized to provide a cost effective solution for automotive and industrial applications that require a low input voltage, high current step-down DC/DC converter. The device utilizes peak-current-mode operation and a voltage feed-forward architecture to enable an ultra-fast transient response and excellent line/load regulation. The device also features a selectable Eco-Mode low quiescent current (IQ) and a power save mode for even lower quiescent current. The device operates from an input voltage of 8-V to 60-V and provides a highly efficient 3.5-A output current with good thermal performance over the entire -40°C to +150°C ambient temperature range.
