Additional Infomation About Product

The UC3879DW by Texas Instruments is a Switching Controllers Phase Shift Resonant Controller, designed to drive a full bridge resonant converter circuit. This integrated circuit is a low-cost alternative to a discretely implemented PFC solution, providing features such as 68kHz minimum switching frequency, soft-start, overvoltage protection, under voltage protection, frequency jitter, over current protection, open loop protection, LED dimming, and protect against inrush current surge. It is available in a DIP-8 package and operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
