The UCC21220DR with Gate Drivers 4-A/6-A, 3.0-kVRMS dual-channel isolated gate driver with 8-V UVLO 16-SOIC -40 to 125 is an Integrated Circuits (IC) manufactured by Texas Instruments. This IC device comes optionally with two independent gate drivers that offer bi-directional driving of high power N-MOSFETs and IGBTs in a wide range of AC and DC switching applications. It also provides isolation protection between low and high side channels as well as providing an 8V under-voltage lockout (UVLO) that prevents the IC from operating below the standard input voltage. This IC is suitable for use in a variety of applications such as PLCs, frequency converters, motor control, and any other applications with high power MOSFET and IGBT switches. This IC comes in the compact 16-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) package and is designed to operate at temperature ranges from 40°C to 125°C.
