The TM1829 with SOP-8 LED Drivers is a linear current regulator IC designed by Titan Micro for driving up to 8 series strings of LEDs. The TM1829 is an upgraded version of the TM1823 and includes a range of features for protecting and driving LEDs efficiently, including inrush current limit, over-temperature shutdown, and short circuit protection. On-chip soft-start controlled current slew enables dynamic control and dimming to protect LED devices from inrush current. The TM1829 operates with an input voltage range from 2.8 V to 5.5 V and is RoHS-compliant and packed in an 8-pin SOP package. This LED driver has a high accuracy current source and is able to provide up to 150mA to each LED string. It is ideal for applications such as general lighting, backlighting of LCD displays, signage, and automotive lighting.
