It operates with a voltage range from 64 to 155V and is rated with a maximum current up to 18A. The TLC-LSMD185 is compliant to RoHS standards, and is constructed with an SMD radial leaded plastic package. It features a resilient PTC trace element which senses and responds when excessive current is detected. The trace element can rapidly open and safely dissipate overload current passed the trip point in order to limit peak fault current. Additionally, it can reset itself after overload current has been reduced, allowing circuits to continuously operate.
