The Tonyu DY-PD333B-A5 is an ambient light sensor with through-hole mounting which is RoHS compliant. The device consists of a photodiode and operational amplifier circuit, allowing users to detect light intensity adjusting with the variable resistor. The device is designed to function in one direction optimized for two-level thresholds (up/down) applications. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and an operating voltage from 2V to 5V. The device has a high sensitivity, fast response time and low power consumption. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including camera backlight control, display control, PDA, mobile phone and car audio.
