The XC9140A3314R-G is a high efficiency, low ripple, and low noise switching voltage regulator PFM step-up synchronous DC/DC converter manufactured by Torex Semiconductor. It is housed in a small SIP packages, making it suitable for space-sensitive applications such as portable devices. It features a high conversion efficiency up to 94%, a wide input voltage range of 2.7V-10.8V and a wide output voltage range of 0.6V-9.5V. Additionally it features an output current up to 500mA, a low quiescent current of 2.7mA (typical) and an adjustable switching frequency of up to 340kHz. This regulator also incorporates over current protection, output voltage soft start, thermal shutdown, input under voltage lockout, output short-circuit protection (SCP), and cycle-by-cycle current limit protection. It is suitable for space-sensitive applications such as portable devices, cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs, GPS device and consumer electronic devices.
