The TP4120 from TPOWER is a PMIC - Battery Management with SSOP16 RoHS packaging. This power management IC is designed for controlling and monitoring Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries in Lithium-ion battery packs for mobile devices, such as cell phones, portable media players, digital cameras, PDAs, etc. It provides intelligent control and monitoring capabilities for charging, discharging and protecting the battery from overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit and over-temperature conditions. It features a UL certified battery cell balancing circuitry, built in temperature and cell voltage monitors, with a wide range of programmable features. The device is packaged in a standard RoHS-compliant 16-pin SSOP package that can be used in consumer applications.
