The VDR-10D561KT with Varistors 460V 920V 2.5KA Through Hole RoHS is an electro-mechanical component used in electronic circuits for protection from transient overvoltage events. This component is manufactured by VDR and is designed with a cylindrical body, two leads, and a stack of alternate metal and insulator layers to form a Varistor. It is used to prevent damage to electric components from voltage spikes encountered in the power supply. It offers a wide operating voltage range of from 460V to 920V, and is capable of withstanding a transient current up to 2.5KA. This component is RoHS compliant, and is designed for through-hole mounting.
