Additional Infomation About Product

ARG03DTC0390 is a part of the Viking Orbiter 1 and Viking 2 spacecraft, both of which were robotic space probes launched by NASA in the 1970s. The ARG03DTC0390 is a package of electronic components called a Digital Tape Recorder (DTR). This tape recorder was used to store data, which was then transmitted back to Earth for analysis. The DTR was capable of storing up to 122,500 frames of scientific data, and had a transfer rate of 20 megabits per second.
