The TSOP98640 with Infrared Receivers Minicast 40kHz AGC6 is an infrared receiver that can be used for remote control applications. It is manufactured by Vishay and offers a wide angle of reception up to -30° angle. It can also detect Infra Red pulses up to 40kHz frequency and Interface Control enables additional board space savings. It also provides adjustable sensitivity for any application with an integrated Automatic Gain Control (AGC6) circuit which provides high immunity against induced noises. Additionally, it comes with an integrated temperature compensation system for optimum performance in a wide temperature range.
