The FT232 USB UART Board (type A) is a communication module manufactured by Waveshare. It measures 44.45x19.05mm and is RoHS certified. This board allows USB ports to communicate with UART interfaces and sends data as serial output which can be used with different microcontroller boards, computers or other devices. This board can also be installed with Arduino or other compatible development boards, allowing the communication of USB and RS-232 serial devices.
