Additional Infomation About Product

The Photo Interrupter Sensor with Sensor Modules ROHS (model HC-SR04) manufactured by Waveshare is an infrared light-emitting and photo-sensing module which can detect the presence of objects. It works by emitting an infrared light from the sensor and detecting the reflection of that light from an object. The time taken for the light to be reflected back is measured and can be used to calculate the distance between the detector and the object. The module is compact and operates from a supply voltage of 3.3 to 5 VDC, making it suitable for many applications, such as environment and temperature monitoring systems, robotics, and supply chain management. It also complies with the ROHS standard for environmental safety.
