BTA308X-800C0Q with Triacs 3Q Hi-Com Triac is a Triac manufactured by WeEn Semiconductor. It is a Silicon bidirectional, three quadrant, general purpose Triac with high on-state current rating, high surge current capability, and low holding angles. It is designed to be used in general purpose AC switching applications such as home appliances, lighting, heating and motor control. This Triac features excellent long-term stability, low junction capacitance, and fast switching speed. It is capable of controlling high inrush current and is easy to mount with its solderable terminal. The Triac has 800V breakdown voltage and is packaged in a TO-220AB package which has thermal shutdown device for over temperature protection.
