The Weidmuller ZDU 2.5 is a modular feed-through terminal block system with wire protection, control and monitoring features. It is designed for easy installation and provides maximum security for data transmission. It comprises an insulated hood for wiring and a push-in connection for a flexible conductor. The terminal block contains two parts: an integrated surge protection device to protect against static electricity, spikes and overvoltage, and an interchangeable modular insert to provide an interface for signal, data and power. The modular insert is available in 6 different colors to enable quick and easy identification, and the hood and insert are made from robust plastic, which is resistant to dust, vibration and flame. The ZDU 2.5 terminals are designed for a maximum current rating of 16A, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
