The Yageo 561KD10J-E012 is a radial leaded varistor, also known as a voltage-dependent resistor (VDR). It is designed for voltage protection and AC line filtering. It has a voltage rating of 561VAC (8/20µs), a breakdown voltage of 72 to 140VAC, and a capacitance of 10 JOULES. The part is RoHS compliant, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It comes in standard 10mm +/-10% diameter by 12mm high, supplying improved thermal performance. Design engineers can use it to protect circuits from transients and surges and filter out unwanted RF signals.
