The SMBJ13A with TVS SMB (DO-214AA) RoHS is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode manufactured by Yageo. It is designed to protect electronic components from high voltage transients or surges. It provides a Voltage Clamping Level of 13V ±20V and a peak Pulse Power Dissipation of 5.0W (10/1000 µs). The device is made in RoHS compliant chip-size package, which helps in minimizing the board space. The package also helps in reducing Lead inductance, enabling the device to protect components from higher peak currents. It provides excellent clamping capacitance and capable of dissipating up to 5A peak surge current. It is ideal for Automotive and consumer applications such as telecommunication devices, computer systems, imaging products and other high-end electronic equipment.
