Additional Infomation About Product

HER155 is a member of the HER-family of four-helix bundle Eph receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). It is a single chain polypeptide consisting of 1223 amino acids and a molecular weight of approximately 149 kDa. HER155 is expressed mostly in brain, heart and skeletal muscle, and is known to be involved in nervous system development and neuronal migration. It plays a role in the modulation of axon outgrowth, fasciculation, and branching, and has been linked to the regulation of learning and memory. HER155 has also been shown to control cell proliferation and differentiation, and to affect cell adhesion and cytoskeletal organization. In addition, HER155 may regulate the expression of growth factors, angiogenesis, and homeostasis.
