It features a high-performance switching fabric and non-blocking architecture, allowing all 12 ports to provide line-rate forwarding with low latency. The switch is designed for cost-efficient Gigabit Ethernet access and provides comprehensive Layer 2 switch functions with support for traffic control, QoS, bandwidth control and information security.
