The L7812CV with Linear Voltage Regulator TO-220 RoHS from Youtai provides a positive 12V voltage output and is designed for fixed-voltage supplies and is capable of up to 1.5A output current. It has a wide input voltage range from 6V up to 35V and the output voltage is adjustable down to 5V with an external resistor divider network. It features a low quiescent current of 7.4 mA making it energy efficient and includes thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection making it a reliable and safe component to use. It also has a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) conformal coating making it environment-friendly.
