MP44014-A Boundary Mode PFC Controller The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION Boundary Conduction Mode PFC Controller The MP44014-A is a boundary conduction for Pre-Regulator mode PFC controller that provides simple and Zero-Crossing Compensation to Minimum high-performance active power-factor correction THD of AC Input Current using minimum external components. Precise Adjustable Output Over-Voltage The output voltage is regulated accurately by a Protection high-performance voltage-mode amplifier with Ultra-Low (15 A) Start-Up Current an accurate internal voltage reference. Low Quiescent Current (0.46mA) at OVP Condition The precise adjustable output over-voltage On-Chip Filter on Current Sense Pin protection greatly enhances the system reliability. Enable/Disable and Open-Loop Protection Function on FB The on-chip R/C filter on the current sense pin -750/+800mA Peak Gate-Drive Current can potentially eliminate the external R/C filter. APPLICATIONS The extremely low start-up current, quiescent current, and the disable function reduces the Offline Adaptors power consumption, resulting in excellent Electronic Ballasts efficiency performance.
