MP44014 Boundary Mode PFC Controller The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION Boundary Conduction Mode PFC Controller The MP44014 is a boundary conduction mode for Pre-Regulator PFC controller that provides simple, high- Zero-Crossing Compensation to Minimum performance, active power factor correction THD of the AC Input Current using minimal external components. Precise Adjustable Output Over-Voltage The output voltage is regulated accurately by a Protection high-performance voltage mode amplifier with Ultra-Low (15 A) Start-U p Current an accurate internal voltage reference. Low Quiescent Current (0.46uA) at OVP Condition The precise, adjustable output over-voltage On-Chip Filter on Current Sense Pin protection greatly enhances system reliability. Disable Function on ZCS Pin The on-chip R/C filter on the current sense pin -750mA/+800mA Peak Gate Drive Current can potentially eliminate the external R/C filter. Available in SOIC-8 Packages The extremely low start-up current, quiescent APPLICATIONS current, and disable function reduces power consumption, resulting in excellent efficiency Offline Adaptors performance. Electronic Ballast LLC Front End The MP44014 is available in a SOIC-8 package. Other PFC Pre-Regulators All MPS parts are lead-free, halogen-free, and adhere to the RoHS directive.
